Application of Case-based"Internet +"Blended Teaching in Plastic Surgery Teaching
Objective In order to adapt to current trends in medical education,the blended teaching based on case-guided"Internet +"mode was applied to plastic surgery teaching and to explore its effect.Methods A total of 56 students who received standardized training and advanced studies in the Department of Plastic Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from June 2018 to January 2022 were selected,and they were divided into a traditional teaching group and a blended teaching group according to the different teaching methods they received.Two different teaching methods were adopted,and theoretical teaching and clinical practice teaching were carried out.Through analyzing the examination results and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of students,the mastery of plastic surgery related knowledge was further judged and the teaching effect was evaluated.Results There were 28 students in the traditional teaching group and 28 students in the blended teaching group,and the scores of professional knowledge written test and skill operation in the blended teaching group were significantly better than those in the traditional teaching group(P<0.05).The satisfaction score of the blended teaching group was significantly higher than that of the traditional teaching group(P<0.05).Conclusion The blended teaching based on case-guided"Internet +"model has obvious advantages over traditional teaching,which is helpful to improve teaching quality,improve students'satisfaction,and stimulate learning interest.
