Efficacy of Silver Sulfate Dressing Combined with Vacuum Sealing Drainage in the Treatment of Refractory Wounds
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of lipid hydrocolloid silver sulfate dressing combined with vacuum sealing drainage in the treatment of refractory wounds. Methods Eighty patients with chronic refractory wounds who came to author's hospital from February 2022 to December 2022 were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the random single-blind grouping method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with vacuum sealing drainage technology, and the experimental group was treated with silver sulfate dressing combined with vacuum sealing drainage technology. The wound healing, inflammatory index level, wound pain degree and sleep quality of patients were observed and compared between the two groups. Results When dressing was changed twice, the bacterial clearance rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, the wound healing rate and granulation growth score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the wound pain score was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, the serum white blood cells,C-reactive protein, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-6 in wound tissue in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in PSQI scores between the two groups before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Lipid hydrocolloid silver sulfate dressing combined with vacuum sealing drainage in the treatment of chronic refractory wounds can inhibit bacterial reproduction, reduce the risk of infection, and promote wound healing, with significant effect.
