Efficacy of Advanced Optimal Pulse Technology(AOPT)Combined with Mussel Adhesive Protein on Sensitive Skin
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of mussel adhesive protein(MAP)combined with advanced optimal pulse technology(AOPT)in the treatment of sensitive skin. Methods 60 patients with sensitive skin were randomly divided into control group(30 cases)and observation group(30 cases). The control group was treated with AOPT,while the observation group received AOPT combined with MAP.Both groups were treated for 3 times(once every 4 weeks). The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared at 28 days after the end of treatment. Results After treatment, the clinical symptoms scores were decreased in both groups, and the observation group had lower scores(P<0.05).The total effective rate in observation group after treatment was 93.33%(28/30),which was higher than 73.33%(22/30)in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the skin pH value in the two groups was declined while the water content of stratum corneum and sebum content were enhanced, and the skin pH value in observation group was lower while the water content of stratum corneum was higher compared to control group(P<0.05).The DLQI score in the two groups was reduced after treatment, and the score in observation group was lower compared with that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion AOPT combined with MAP is beneficial to improving the clinical symptoms and enhancing the therapeutic effect of patients with sensitive skin, and it has positive significance for improving the skin barrier function and enhancing the quality of life of patients.
