Analysis of the Clinical Effects of Orthodontic Technique Combined with Porcelain Veneer for Wide Anterior Tooth Gaps Restoration
Objective This study is aimed to investigate the clinical effect of Orthodontic Technique Combined with Porcelain Veneer in closing wide tooth gap.Methods A total of 43 patients undergoing porcelain veneer restoration of wide anterior tooth gaps in Prosthodontics Department of the hospital from Jan 2018 to Jan 2022 were selected as subjects.They were divided into the observation group and the control group according to their restore scheme.The control group was treated with porcelain veneer,and the observation group was treated with orthodontic technique combined with porcelain veneer.The clinical effects were compared between the two groups in immediate postoperative and 12 months after it.Results The crown morphology of observation group was significantly better than control group in immediate postoperative.The gingiva surface texture,PES score,crown morphology,WES score and satisfaction rate was significantly better than control group(P<0.05).The gingiva surface texture of observation group and veneer color of both groups in 12 months following operation was significantly better than immediate postoperative(all P<0.05).Conclusion Orthodontic technique combined with porcelain veneer representing good clinical effect in wide anterior tooth gaps restoration cases.
