Observation on the Effect and Postoperative Complications of Double-layer Tile Suture Orbicularis Oculi Muscle Flap in Eyelid Blepharoplasty
Objective To explore the aesthetics and postoperative complications of double-layer tile suture orbicularis oculi muscle flap in eyelid blepharoplasty. Methods A total of 70 patients undergoing eyelid blepharoplasty in the author's hospital were enrolled between January 2018 and January 2021.They were randomly divided into control group(n=35)and observation group(n=35),control group was treated with four-step eyelid blepharoplasty, and observation group was treated with double-layer tile suture orbicularis oculi muscle flap.At 3 months after surgery, clinical curative effect and aesthetics effect between the two groups were compared. All patients were followed up for 12 months to statistically analyze the occurrence of complications, formation of lying silkworms, eyelid recurrence and patients satisfaction. Results After surgery, total response rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(94.29%vs 77.14%)(P<0.05).The good rate of aesthetics effect in observation group was higher than that in control group(97.14%vs 82.86%)(P<0.05),incidence of complications was lower than that in control group(2.86%vs 25.71%)(P<0.05),and formation rate of lying silkworm was higher than that in control group(88.57%vs 22.86%)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate of eyelid between the two groups(P>0.05).The total satisfaction rate in observation group was higher than that in control group(88.57%vs 65.71%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of double-layer tile suture orbicularis oculi muscle flap in eyelid blepharoplasty can improve clinical curative effect and aesthetics effect, reduce the risk of complications and promote formation of lying silkworms, with high patients satisfaction.
