Application of Wood's Lamp Examination in the Observational Study of Different Repigmentation Patterns During Vitiligo Treatment
Objective The purpose of this study was to observe the repigmentation patterns of vitiligo during the treatment process using the Wood's lamp, explore the relevant influencing factors of different repigmentation patterns, and analyze and evaluate the efficacy differences between different repigmentation patterns. Methods A total of 90 vitiligo cases(170 lesions)attending the author's hospital from August 2021-August 2022 were collected, and basic information and disease-related indicators of the patients were collected. After treatment, the repigmentation patterns of the lesions were observed under the Wood's lamp, and statistical analysis was performed on the collected indicators. After screening out the indicators with statistically significant differences, the logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the positive indicators and the repigmentation patterns. The area of the lesion observed under the Wood's lamp was used as the standard for efficacy assessment, and the efficacy differences between different repigmentation patterns were analyzed and compared. Results The results showed that vitiligo disease stage, lesion site, treatment method, and repigmentation pattern were related(P<0.05)according to One-way ANOVA analysis and χ2 test. The logistic regression analysis showed that there was a correlation between treatment method and repigmentation pattern(P<0.05).The time it took for different repigmentation patterns to reach effective repigmentation areas was compared(H=8.04,P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion The treatment method may be a determining factor for the repigmentation pattern of vitiligo lesions, and the different repigmentation speeds between different repigmentation patterns can be used as a reference for clinicians to adjust treatment plans.
