Research Status on the Effect of Orthognathic Surgery on the Condyle of Temporomandibular Joint in Patients with Class Ⅲ Malocclusion
Orthognathic surgery is the most commonly used treatment for Class Ⅲ malocclusion and condyle is an important factor to evaluate the recurrence and stability of patients after orthognathic surgery.Scholars have different opinions on how to change and reconstruct the condyle position after orthognathic surgery.In this paper,the condyle position and morphological characteristics,the condyle position change and reconstruction after orthognathic operation in patients with type Class Ⅲmalocclusion were reviewed.
