Clinical Study on Carteolol Combined with Pidokon Liquid Dressing in the Treatment of Superficial Infantile Hemangioma
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of topical Carteolol combined with pidokon liquid dressing on superficial infantile hemangioma.Methods From January 2016 to December 2021,Carteolol combined with pidokon liquid dressing was given to 23 patients with superficial infantile hemangioma for three times a day for 90 minutes each time.The duration of the treatment was six to twelve months.After treatment,the therapeutic effects were grade as:gradeⅠ(unable to control the growth of the hemangioma),Ⅱ(the growth of the hemangioma was arrested),Ⅲ(hemangioma significantly involuted).Results In the 23 children who underwent these treatments,there were four patients of gradeⅠ,three patients of grade Ⅱ,sixteen patients of grade Ⅲ.Complete clearance was achieved in five patients.Eczema and ulcer were common local adverse reactions.Conclusion In the treatment of superficial infantile hemangioma during proliferative phase,topical applying of Carteolol combined with pidokon liquid dressing presents good clinical efficacy.
