21 Cases Report and Clinical Analysis of IgG4 Related Disease in the Head and Neck from Xinjiang Region of China
Objective To analyze the literature of clinical manifestations,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of IgG4 related disease in the head and neck.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed in patients with IgG4 related diseases from January 2012 to March 2023 in general hospital of Xinjiang military command,and the related literatures were reviewed.Results IgG4 related disease in the head and neck was a multi-organ system disease,characterized by swelling and fiberizing change of affected organs,tissue fibrosis and sclerosis,elevated serum IgG4 level,infiltration of plentiful IgG4-positive lymphocytes and plasma cells.Furthermore,it had some relative characteristics on CT or MRI,which could provide valuable information for the diagnosis.Glucocorticoid was the first line treatment,the combination of immunosuppressants depending on the condition can control disease recurrence.Conclusion IgG4 related disease shows varied clinical manifestation,so clinicians should keep vigilance against the disease and avoid unnecessary surgery.
