Curative Effect Analysis of Microneedle Radiofrequency Combined with rb-bFGF Gel in Patients with Early Facial Acne Scars
Objective To explore the curative effect of microneedle radiofrequency(MRF)combined with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor(rb-bFGF)gel in patients with early facial acne scars. Methods A total of 62 patients with facial acne scars at Ma'anshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital were enrolled between January 2022 and June 2023.According to the simple randomization method, they were divided into the single group(n=31,MRF)and the combination group(n=31,MRF combined with rb-bFGF gel). All patients were treated for 6 months(once every 2 months). The clinical curative effect, edema time, recession time of erythema and escharosis time, depth of scar base, scores of Echelle d'evaluation clinique des cicatrices d'acne(ECCA),and Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The adverse reactions were recorded. Results The total response rate of the combination group was higher than that of the single group(P<0.05).The edema time, recession time of erythema, and escharosis time in the combination group were shorter than those in the single group(P<0.05).After 2 and 6 months of treatment, the depth of the scar base,ECCA,and VSS scores were decreased in both groups, which were lower in the combination group than in the single group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group was lower than that in the single group(P<0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of MRF combined with rb-bFGF gel is significant in patients with facial acne scars, which can not only improve scar symptoms but also promote rapid scar recovery and reduce adverse reactions.
