Effect of Microneedling Combined with Mussel Mucin on Facial Acne Atrophic Scar
Objective To evaluate and analyze the therapeutic effect of microneedling combined with mussel mucin wound repair dressing in the treatment of facial acne atrophic scars. Methods A total of 100 patients with facial acne atrophic scars admitted to the author's hospital from July 2020 to July 2021 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with microneedling, and the observation group was treated with microneedling combined with mussel mucin wound repair dressing. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The decrease in Vancouver Scar Scale scores and depression scores in the observation group was significantly greater than that in the control group. The recovery time after microneedling treatment was significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group.Additionally, the incidence of adverse reactions was lower in the observation group than in the control group(all P<0.05),indicating statistically significant differences. Conclusion Microneedling combined with mussel mucin wound repair dressing has a good therapeutic effect on facial acne atrophic scars. It can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions. This treatment method is worthy of widespread clinical application.
