Effect of Root Retention Technique on the Red Esthetics Index of Delayed Maxillary Anterior Dental Implant
Objective To The effect of root retention technique on the pink esthetic score(PES)and its application in delayed maxillary anterior dental implant. Methods From May 2019 to April 2022,86 patients with maxillary anterior teeth in the author's hospital were selected, patients were divided into control group(immediate implantation)and observation group(delayed implantation)according to the different time of implantation,43 cases in each group. The width of alveolar ridge, modified plaque index(mPI),modified Bleeding Index(mSBI)and PES were evaluated immediately and 6 months after restoration.Complications and satisfaction were assessed at 6 months after repair. Results The width of alveolar ridge in the control group was significantly decreased 6 months after restoration compared with that immediately after restoration(P<0.05),and the width of alveolar ridge at each site decreased in the control group mPI and mSBI were significantly lower in both groups at 6 months after repair than at the moment after repair(P<0.05),and there was a significant difference between the two groups at 6 months after repair(P<0.05),mPI and mSBI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and PES scores and total scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 6 months after repair, the PES scores and total scores of the two groups at 6 months after restoration were significantly higher than those immediately after restoration(P<0.05),while one case of gingivitis in bridge position was found in the control group, and no complication was found in the observation group, there was no significant difference(P>0.05),and the scores of color, attachment height, masticatory function and overall esthetics in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The technique of tooth root retention can improve the effect of restoration, improve the appearance of teeth and the satisfaction of patients.
