Effect of Learning Model-based Diversified Education on Stress Response and Satisfaction in Patients with Supergingival Scaling
Objective To study the effect of LEARNING model-based diversified education on stress response and satisfaction in patients with supergingival scaling.Methods 60 patients with supergingival scaling admitted to the hospital from January 2018 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into observation group and control group by means of the randomization method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group took conventional health education model,and the observation group was given LEARNING model-based diversified education.The stress response,satisfaction with supergingival scaling,oral cleanliness,self-efficacy and self-care ability were compared between both groups.Results Compared with before intervention,the scores of items of psychological stress response in both groups were decreased after intervention,and the scores in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction was higher in observation group than that in control group(P<0.05).The score of oral cleanliness in both groups was decreased after intervention compared with that before intervention(P<0.05),and the score in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Compared with before intervention,the scores of self-efficacy dimensions in the two groups of patients were increased after intervention(P<0.05),and the scores in observation group were higher compared to control group(P<0.05).The scores of dimensions of self-care ability of patients in both groups were risen after intervention compared to before intervention,and the scores of patients in observation group were higher compared with those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional health education,the application of LEARNING model-based diversified education can better relieve the psychological stress response,improve the satisfaction and oral cleanliness,enhance the self-efficacy and strengthen the self-care ability in patients with supergingival scaling,thus the latter one is more suitable for clinical application and promotion.
