Effects of Air-fluidized Bed Combined with Special Wound Nursing on Wound Recovery in Burn Patients after Plastic Skin Grafting
Objective To explore the effects of air-fluidized bed combined with special wound nursing on wound recovery in burn patients after plastic skin grafting. Methods A total of 102 burn patients undergoing plastic skin grafting in the author's hospital were retrospectively analyzed between May 2020 and December 2022.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into fluidized nursing group(air-fluidized bed combined with special wound nursing,n=49)and routine nursing group(turning bed+routine nursing,n=53).Postoperative pain, comfort level, wound recovery, adverse events and quality of life were compared between the two groups after intervention. Results The scores of visual analogue scale at 7 d and 14 d after surgery were lower than those at 1 d after surgery in both groups, and which were lower in fluidized nursing group than routine nursing group(P<0.05).The scores of general comfort questionnaire at 7 d and 14d after surgery were higher than those at 1 d after surgery in both groups, and which were higher in fluidized nursing group than routine nursing group(P<0.05).The wound healing time in fluidized nursing group was earlier than that in routine nursing group, and score of Vancouver scar scale was lower than that in routine nursing group at 3 months after surgery(P<0.05).During intervention, incidence of adverse nursing events in fluidized nursing group was lower than that in routine nursing group(6.12% vs 20.75%,P<0.05).At 3 months after surgery, scores of quality of life scale were increased in both groups, and which were higher in fluidized nursing group than routine nursing group(P<0.05).Conclusion Air-fluidized bed combined with special wound nursing can effectively relieve pain, improve comfort, reduce the risk of adverse events, accelerate wound healing and recovery, and improve quality of life in burn patients after plastic skin grafting.
