Classification of Postoperative Complications after Panniculectomy and Progress in Prevention and Treatment
The panniculectomy is a functional procedure to help remove excess skin and lipid from the abdominal wall in obese subjects, and it is increasingly sought after by obese subjects because of its effectiveness in improving the appearance of the abdominal wall. However, the incidence of local and systemic complications in obese subjects after surgery remains high, which seriously affects patients'life and surgical outcomes, and therefore requires high attention in the perioperative period. In this paper, the types of its common complications, prevention and treatment measures after panniculectomy are summarized and analyzed,so as to provide reference for future clinical work.
