Evaluation of Curative Effect of Self-made Chinese Herbal Oil on Deep Burn Wound in Rats
Objective To explore the mechanism of self-made Chinese herbal oil and the clinical efficacy of promoting deep burn wound healing by establishing a Wister rat model of deep burn. Methods Sixty clean and healthy male Wister rats were selected for the study, and the modeled rats were divided into 30 control rats and 30 observation rats according to the treatment. After debridement with normal saline, the wound of control group was covered with vaseline gauze and fixed, the observation group was smeared with self-made Chinese herbal oil and fixed with Vaseline gauze after evenly smearing, the dressing was changed once every other day.The wound healing conditions and wound healing rates of the two groups at the 3rd,7th,14th and 21st days after treatment were compared, the number of fibroblasts and capillaries on the burn wound of rats was observed by HE staining method, the epidermal growth factor(EGF)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)levels on the burn wound of rats was detected by immunohistochemical staining method. Results On the 3rd,7th,14th and 21st day after treatment, the wound healing rate of the two groups was increased, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05),the wound healing area and exudate in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group. The number of fibroblasts and capillaries increased in the two groups, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05),the levels of EGF and VEGF were increased in the two groups, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of self-made Chinese herbal oil in the treatment of deep burn wounds in rats can effectively increase the number of fibroblasts and capillaries, improve the levels of EGF and VEGF,and promote the healing of wounds.
