Recombinant Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor Gel Combined with Q-switched Laser in the Treatment of Facial Seborrheic Keratosis
Objective To explore the effect of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor(rb-bFGF)gel combined with Q-switched laser in the treatment of facial seborrheic keratosis(SK).Methods 82 patients with facial SK admitted to the author's hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into control group(n=41)and observation group(n=41)according to the random number table method. Both groups were treated with Q-switched laser(wavelength of 532 nm).The observation group was treated with rb-bFGF gel on the basis of the control group. The efficacy, pain degree, scab complete shedding time, duration of residual erythema, dermatology life quality index(DLQI)and occurrence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the wound scab complete shedding time and duration of residual erythema were shorter compared with those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the DLQI scores except treatment dimension in both groups were decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above scores in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 0.93%,while in the control group it was 6.03%,but there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion rb-bFGF gel combined with Q-switched laser has a significant efficacy in the treatment of facial SK,and it can promote the wound recovery, relieve the pain during recovery, and enhance the quality of life of patients.
