Application of Roy Adaptation Model Combined with Structural Group Psychological Intervention in Maxillofacial Trauma Patients
Objective To explore the application of Roy adaptation model combined with structural group psychological intervention in maxillofacial trauma patients.Methods A total of 62 patients with maxillofacial trauma admitted to Fuyang people's hospital stomatology from January 2020 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects of this study,and were divided into group A(routine nursing intervention,31 cases)and group B(Roy's adaptation model combined structural group psychological intervention,31 cases)according to random number table method,from the time of admission to 1 month after discharge.Psychological resilience,medical coping,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),self-perceived Burden Scale(SPBS),visual analogue scale of pain(VAS),quality of life before intervention and after 1 month of follow-up and aesthetic satisfaction after 1 month of follow-up were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with before intervention,after 1 month of follow-up,the total score of toughness,optimism,self-reliance and mental resilience,face score,quality of life were all increased in both groups,and the group B was higher than the group A,while the scores of avoidance,submission,PSQI,SPBS and VAS all decreased.The group B was lower than the group A(P<0.05).After 1 month of follow-up,the total satisfaction of aesthetic effect in the group B was higher than that in the group A(P<0.05).Conclusion Roy's adaptation model combined with structural group psychological intervention in maxillofacial trauma patients can help improve the level of psychological resilience of patients,reduce patients'sense of self-perceived burden,relieve their pain,enable them to positively face the disease,improve patients'sleep quality,improve quality of life,and improve patients'satisfaction with aesthetic effects.
