Research Progress of Fractional Carbon Dioxide Laser in the Treatment of Female Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome
In recent years, the incidence of vaginal relaxation syndrome is increasing, which has a great impact on women's sexual life and sexual health.Clinically, surgery is still the most traditional choice, but postoperative complications and other factors will affect the recovery of patients. In recent years,as a new treatment method, fractional CO2 laser therapy has attracted much attention. This therapy can restore the elasticity of vaginal mucosa, promote the hydration of vaginal mucosa, and improve the lubrication performance of vaginal mucosa by using the characteristics of laser highly focused energy. However, relevant studies are in the initial stage at present, especially on the basis of randomized control. Therefore, more evidence is needed to support the safety and efficacy of this treatment. In this paper, the diagnosis and treatment status of vaginal relaxation syndrome, the mechanism of fractional CO2 laser treatment of vaginal relaxation syndrome and clinical studies are summarized,so as to further promote and apply in future studies.
