Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of 321 health education model in patients undergoing facial scar repair,and its influence on cognitive bias and coping style.Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent facial scar repair in the hospital from July 2020 to July 2022 were randomly assigned to the control group and the observation group with 60 patients in each group.Both groups were given routine nursing after repair.On this basis,the control group received routine health education,while the observation group received 321 health education.Recovery,cognitive bias,coping style and quality of life of the two groups were comparatively analyzed.Results Wound healing time and recovery time of skin blood supply in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scar quantitative score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores for depression-distortion,depression-non-distortion and non-depression-distortion in the two groups decreased significantly,and the observation group had lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).The non-depression-non-distortion scores of the two groups increased significantly,and the observation group had higher score than the control group(P<0.05).The scores for yielding and avoidance in the two groups decreased significantly,and the observation group had lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).Facing scores of the two groups increased significantly,and the observation group had higher score than the control group(P<0.05).The scores for physiological domain,psychological domain,social relations and overall health in the two groups increased significantly(P<0.05),and the observation group had higher scores than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The 321 health education model is beneficial to the recovery of patients undergoing facial scar repair.It can improve the patients'cognitive bias,promote them to adopt positive coping styles,and improve quality of life.
