Impact of topographical factor on soil organic carbon in reclamation spoibank of an opencast coal mine in loess hilly area
In order to study impact of gradient, slope aspect, altitude and other factors on reclamation soil organic carbon spatial distribution in opencast coal mine of loess hilly area, the authors selected soil sample from West spoibank of Antaibao opencast coal mine,Pingshuo, Shanxi as obj ect of study, and digital processed contour map to DEM under GIS platform basing upon 1 m contour map. According to comprehensive analysis, the results indicated that in loess hilly area, the carbon content of organic reclamation soil was negatively correlated with altitude, but the correlation was not significant;the relationship between slope and organic carbon had a significantly single peak curve and preferably matching;and slope aspect affected spatial distribu-tion of organic carbon to a certain degree. The overall performance of organic carbon content from low to high were cloudy slope, sunny slope,semi-sunny slope and semi-cloudy slope.
