The theory and technology of geological guarantee for coal green development are of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of China's coal industry.Based on the internal connection of mutual promotion and interdependence between coal development technology and geoscientific research,the authors analyze the current research status of geological guarantee technology for coal development,and clarify the scientific connotation of coal development promoting geoscientific research.It is thought that the demands for geological guarantee technology development in intelligent mining,deep mining and green mining have promoted the technological progress of transparent geology,digital geology and livable geology,which is conducive to the expansion of research fields and research scale,and improvement of research accuracy in the geosciences discipline.
