Statistical analysis of the fluctuation in repeated testing of briquette strength
Five kinds of briquettes were prepared under the same experimental conditions with inorganic binders or organic binders. The measured value fluctuations of cold compression strength, immersion strength, abrasion resistance strength, thermal stability and crushing resistance of briquettes were statistically analyzed by using t distribution test. The results show that there is no significant difference among the results of the briquette strength tests, and the stabilities of briquette strength were preferable. The maximum relative errors of cold compression strength of briquettes prepared with inorganic binders and organic binders were within 4.11% and 4.30%,respectively;the maximum relative errors of the immersion strength of briquettes prepared with inorganic binders and organic binders were within 5.30% and 5.68%,respectively;the maximum relative errors of the shatter strength, abrasion resistance strength, thermal stability of briquettes prepared with inorganic binders were within 3.26%,2.76%,and 4.11%,respectively.The quality fluctuation of the immersion strength of briquette was greater than that of the cold compression strength, and the maximum relative error of thermal stability was higher than that of abrasion resistance strength, which was related to the long process and multiple interference factors of briquette strength testing.
