Comparison of spatial interpolation methods for geological modeling of Xiaobaodang Coal Mine
The 3D geological modeling technology has promoted the intelligent development of coal mines, and its application in the coal industry is very extensive and of great significance. The interpolation method is particularly important for the accuracy of modeling results in 3D geological modeling.By utilizing ground drilling data information, four methods, namely inverse distance weighting, minimum curvature, radial basis function interpolation, and simple Kriging, are used to perform spatial interpolation on the elevation of each layer, and cross validation is conducted to evaluate the interpolation accuracy by MAE,MRE,and RMSE,and to determine the optimal interpolation method in coal mine modeling. The results show that the optimal interpolation method for M1,M3 and M4 coal seam interfaces is simple Kriging, and the M2 coal seam interface interpolation method performs similarly to the minimum curvature method. The MRE test index shows that the simple Kriging interpolation accuracy order for coal seams is M4>M3>M2>M1,and the MRE of M3 and M4 coal seam results is 0.013%and 0.014%,respectively.The MRE of M2 and M1 coal seam results is 0.183%and 0.274%,respectively.The interpolation accuracy of M3 and M4 coal seam interfaces is significantly better than that of M2 and M1 interfaces.
