Hydrochemical characteristics and numerical simulation prediction of mine water in the first mining field of Xingjie Taigemiao mining area
Based on the sample analysis of groundwater and rock from the first mining field in Xinjie Taigemiao mining area in Inner Mongolia, the hydrochemical characteristics and spatial distribution patterns of the aquifer in the mining area were explored, and the typical hydrochemical components in the mine water were predicted using groundwater model system(GMS)software. The results indicated that the water filled aquifer of first mining field in the Xingjie Taigemiao mining area was from the Zhiluo-Yan'an Formation, the groundwater cations were mainly sodium with an average component content of 906.40 mg/L,while the anions were mainly sulfate ions with an average content of 2 289.3 mg/L.The reaction between the sandstone and deionized water in Zhiluo-Yanan Formation increased the pH value and the groundwater gradually tended towards alkalinity;the concentration of ion components gradually increased, with calcium ions and sodium ions showing a larger increase in the cations. The anions with larger increase were bicarbonate ions and sulfate ions, and the final hydrochemical type was SO4·HCO3-Ca·Na.The water quality of the first mining field of the Taigemiao mining area was predicted through a model, and the concentrations of cations including potassium ions, sodium ions, calcium ions, and magnesium ions were 3.2-15.8,385-765,143.6-194.5,and 30.5-45.5 mg/L,respectively;Anions included sulfate ions and chloride ions, with concentrations range of 1 170-1 900 and 82.07-91.08 mg/L.
