The development of new quality productivity forces is an important guideline for the coal industry to realize the Chinese-style modernization.Based on the current internal and external environment of high-quality development in the coal industry,the situation and existing problems of developing new quality productivity forces of the coal industry under the background of energy security and the carbon peak and carbon neutrality policies were analyzed,and the development strategies of new quality productivity forces of the coal industry empowered by"four chains"were proposed and elaborated in detail from the perspectives of industrial chain,innovation chain,digital chain and green chain,and related suggestions were put forward from three aspects:strengthening top-level design,strengthening talent guarantee,and increasing financial support,which had certain reference significance for the high-quality development of the coal industry.
