Discussion of the concept and determination method of island working face
Island working face occupies an important position in coal mine safety production and safety supervision,but its concept has not been accurately defined so far.The islanding attribute of working face was defined,the conceptual connotation and extension of island working face were analyzed,and the determination process of the islanding attribute of working face was proposed.Taking 305 working face of Longjiabao Coal Mine for example,through analyzing the scale effects of the coal pillar body at the west wing and north wing of the 305 working face,the islanding attribute of the 305 working face had been determined.The results showed that the 305 working face did not have an islanding attribute,and not belong to an island working face,which provided a determination method for the islanding attribute of atypical island working faces.
