Research on the stability of section coal pillar in island working face under shallow-buried goaf
In order to reveal the stability of the section coal pillar of the island working face under the shallow buried deep goaf, taking the 52302 island working face of Yujialiang Coal Mine as the engineering background, the distribution characteristics of the mining stress of the overburden rock during the mining period of the island working face are studied by the combination of numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. The stress evolution law of the section coal pillar is analyzed, and the stability of the section coal pillar is theoretically checked. The results show that the limit equilibrium zone is formed by the dynamic abutment pressure of the lateral coal body in the goaf. The theoretical calculation shows that the peak distance of the abutment pressure on both sides is about 1.74 m from the edge coal wall of the 52302 island working face, and the influence range of the abutment pressure is about 13.1 m.The numerical simulation shows that the initial weighting step is about 60-70 m,the periodic weighting step is about 15-20 m,the maximum stress of the coal pillars on both sides of the island working face is 17.54 MPa,and the plastic zone range on both sides of the coal pillar is 2-3 m.According to the stability analysis of coal pillar, the width of coal pillar core area is 12.228 m,the rate of coal pillar core area is 81.52%,and the coal pillar of working face with width of 15 m can be kept stable. The research results can provide reference for the mining of parallel coal pillars in similar conditions.
