稀土熔炼用钼坩埚失效原因分析

为查明某规格稀土熔炼用钼坩埚穿孔原因,对失效钼坩埚样品进行了宏观形貌分析、化学成分分析、腐蚀分析.结果表明:引起该坩埚穿孔的主要原因是氟化锂熔盐中的锂对钼造成严重腐蚀,证明了穿孔所在的这一近似水平截面处的坩埚壁腐蚀严重,穿孔所在位置并非特殊的缺陷处.穿孔所在的这一近似水平截面处最薄,腐蚀最严重.
Analysis of Failure Cause of Molybdenum Crucible for Rare Earth Smelting
In order to clarify the cause of perforation in a molybdenum crucible used for rare earth smelting of a cer-tain specification,macroscopic morphology analysis,chemical composition analysis and corrosion analysis were con-ducted on the failed molybdenum crucible samples.The results show that the main cause of the crucible perforation is the serious corrosion of molybdenum caused by lithium in lithium fluoride molten salt,which proves that the cru-cible wall at the approximate horizontal section where the perforation is located is seriously corroded,and the perfo-ration is not a special defect.The approximate horizontal section where the perforation is located is the thinnest and has the most severe corrosion.
