Electrochemical Separation of Mo-Cu Composites and Preparation of Sodium Molybdate
A method of electrochemical dissolution separation of Mo-Cu composite materials was proposed, and sodi-um molybdate dihydrate with high purity was prepared. The influence of process parameters on the entire electro dissolution process of Mo-Cu composite materials and the purification of ammonium molybdate dihydrate preparation were systematically studied. The research results show that when the cathode current density is 450 A/m2,the e-lectrode spacing is 2 cm,and the initial concentration of NaOH is 60 g/L,the molybdenum dissolution effect is the best, with a 7-day dissolution rate of about 90%.Ultrasound has no significant promoting effect on the dissolution of Mo,but it can accelerate the detachment of copper powder in the anode raw material. The electrolysis mother liquor is purified by evaporating crystallization and using anhydrous ethanol washing and recrystallization to obtain sodium molybdate dihydrate crystals with a purity of 98.8%.Approximately 1.6 kg of sodium molybdate dihydrate is produced per kilogram of raw material, which meets industrial standards.Compared to directly selling molybdenum copper composite waste, the gross profit per ton of electrochemical recovery process increases by about 123 000 Yuan.
