Visualization of Research Status in Industrial Hemp Based on CiteSpace Analysis
It is crucial to understand the current research status,hotspots,and trends of industrial hemp for promoting the high-quality development of the industrial hemp industry in China.Herein,we retrieved 440 articles related to industrial hemp from the CNKI database and made a comprehensive anal-ysis of these articles using the classic bibliometric analysis software CiteSpace.The results indicated that the scientific research related to industrial hemp in China is developing at a fast pace,with numerous re-search institutions and teams accumulating substantial findings in the utilization of the entire hemp plant,including its bark,stem,seeds,roots,leaves,and flowers.After initial fluctuations,there has been a significant upward trend in the number of published research papers.The current research hotspots mainly focus on the development of new materials such as high-performance fibers and bio-composites,explora-tion of functional components like CBD and their medical applications,as well as genetic improvement and breeding.Additionally,there is a considerable scope for exploration in the policy aspect of industrial hemp.Investigating the impact of policies on industry development and their implementation strategies may become key in promoting the healthy growth of the domestic industrial hemp industry.
