Huahong tablet is a traditional Chinese medicine formula composed of seven medicinal herbs,including Emilia sonchi-folia(L.)DC,Scleromitrion diffusum(Willd.)R.J.Wang,Spatholobus suberectus Dunn,Radix Rhodomyrti,Mallotus apelta(lour.)Muell.Arg,Urena lobata Linn,and Thlaspi arvense L,and it is known for its effects of clearing heat and detoxifying,drying dampness and stopping leukorrhea,and promoting blood circulation and relieving pain.In clinical practice,it is widely used in the treatment of gynecological inflammatory disease caused by bacterial infection.This article explains the formulation of Huahong tablet based on theories of traditional Chinese medicine.Additionally,it provides a review of the research on its main components,quality control methods,and clinical pharmacotherapy by consulting literature,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the secondary develop-ment of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine.
