Influencing factors of medication risk among residents in Zhumadian city
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of medication risk among residents in Zhumadian city.Methods:From April to December 2021,a random sampling method was used to select 439 permanent residents from 1 administrative region and 9 counties in Zhumadian city as the research objects.The KAP questionnaire of medication behavior risk in Chinese residents was used to evaluate the medication risk of these residents.The optimal scaling regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of the residents'medication KAP.Results:A total of 439 questionnaires were distributed,including 405 valid questionnaires,and 34 unqualified questionnaires were excluded.The effective response rate was 92.26%(405/439).Among the surveyed subjects,the proportion of women was high(57.28%),and these subjects were mainly aged 19-34(59.51%)with a monthly income level mainly concentrated in 2001-4000 yuan(28.64%);they were urban residents(51.85%)with mainly social basic medical insurance(82.72%);the undergraduate education(53.83%)was as the main education level,the working status was mainly in-service(61.23%),and the occupation was mainly students(28.89%).The average score of the residents'medication knowledge was(55.74±15.72)points,and the overall score was excellent.The scores of medication knowledge of the residents over 50 years old,with low income(monthly income≤2000 yuan)and low education level(primary school/junior high school),and as freelance were higher than those of the rest,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)The average score of residents'medication behavior was(53.34±8.83)points,and the overall score was good.There were no statistically significant differences in the medication behavior score among the residents of different genders,ages,monthly income,place of residence,medical security status,education level,work status,and occupation(P>0.05).The average score of residents attitudes towards medication was(32.67±6.09),with 22 people(5.43%)scoring excellent and 160 people(39.51%)scoring good.It should be improved 160 people(39.51%),and the overall score was good.There were no statistically significant differences in the medication attitude score among the resident with different genders,ages,monthly income,place of residence,medical security status,education level,work status,and occupation(P>0.05).The optimal scaling regression analysis showed that age,monthly income,medical security status,education level,work status and occupation was the influencing factors of the residents'medication knowledge(P<0.05);work status was the influencing factor of the residents'medication behavior(P<0.05);and monthly income and occupation were the influencing factors of the residents'medication attitude(P<0.05).Conclusions:Age,monthly income,medical security status,education level,work status;occupation are the influencing factors of the residents'medication knowledge;monthly income and occupation are the influencing factors of the residents'medication attitude;and work status is the influencing factor of the residents'medication behavior.
