Status of hepatitis B vaccination and its influencing factors among rural residents in Duchang county of Jiujiang city in 2021
Objective:To analyze status of hepatitis B vaccination and its influencing factors among rural residents in Duchang county of Jiujiang city in 2021.Methods:600 residents from 24 towns and villages under the jurisdiction of Duchang county in Jiujiang city in 2021 were selected as the research objects.A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect the basic information of these rural residents.The awareness of disease and prevention knowledge was assessed.They were divided into vaccination group and non-vaccination group according to whether they received hepatitis B vaccine or not.Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of non-vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine among the rural residents in Duchang county of Jiujiang city in 2021.Results:In 2021,76 of 600 rural residents in Duchang county of Jiujiang city did not receive hepatitis B vaccine with an unvaccinated rate of 12.67%(76/600).There were no significant differences in gender,spouse and occupation between the two groups(P>0.05).The proportion of the rural residents with age>45 years old,education level of high school and below,family monthly income<3000 yuan,no history of going out to work,no history of exposure to hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,and unawareness of disease and prevention knowledge in the non-vaccination group was higher than that in the vaccination group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age>45 years old,educational level of high school and below,family monthly income<3000 yuan,no contact history of HBV infected persons,and unawareness of disease and prevention knowledge were all risk factors for not being vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine among the rural residents in Duchang county of Jiujiang city in 2021(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions:Age>45 years old,educational level of high school and below,family monthly income<3000 yuan,no contact history of HBV infected persons,and unawareness of disease and prevention knowledge are the risk factors for not being vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine among the rural residents in Duchang county of Jiujiang city in 2021
