Influencing factors of urinary tract infection in patients after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of urinary tract infection in patients after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Methods:The clinical data of 362 patients undergoing flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy in this hospital from January 2018 to August 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The incidence of urinary tract infection in these patients was statistically analyzed.Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of urinary tract infection in these patients after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Results:There were 46 cases of urinary tract infection in the 362 patients after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy with an incidence of 12.71%(46/362),and they were set as the infection group. The rest were set as the non-infection group. The proportions of the patients with age>60 years old, combined diabetes mellitus, history of urinary tract infection, operation time>90 min, severe hydronephrosis, and more than two kinds of antibiotics in the infection group were higher than those in the non-infection group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age>60 years old, combined diabetes mellitus, history of urinary tract infection, operation time>90 min, severe hydronephrosis, and more than two kinds of antibiotics were risk factors for urinary tract infection in the patients after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions:Age>60 years old, combined diabetes mellitus, history of urinary tract infection, operation time>90 min, severe hydronephrosis, and more than two kinds of antibiotics are the risk factors for urinary tract infection in the patients after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy.
