Effects of Estradiol valerate tablets combined with Mifepristone in treatment of patients with perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding
Objective:To observe effects of Estradiol valerate tablets combined with Mifepristone in treatment of patients with perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Methods:The clinical data of 128 patients with perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding admitted to this hospital from September 2020 to September 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment options, they were divided into study group and control group,64 cases in each. The control group was treated with Mifepristone tablets, while the study group was treated with Estradiol valerate tablets on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the endometrial thickness, the hemoglobin level, the menstrual volume, the sex hormone index[progesterone, follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH)]levels before and after the treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.31%(61/64),which was higher than 79.69%(51/54)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the menstrual volume and the endometrial thickness of the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;the hemoglobin levels of the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, and those in the study group was higher than those in the control group;and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of progesterone,FSH,E2 and LH in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Estradiol valerate combined with Mifepristone in the treatment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the hemoglobin levels and reduce the menstrual volume, the endometrial thickness and the sex hormone index level. Moreover,it is superior to single Mifepristone tablets treatment.
