Effects of electroacupuncture combined with language rehabilitation training on patients with post-stroke speech disorders
Objective:To observe effects of electroacupuncture combined with language rehabilitation training on patients with post-stroke speech disorders.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 98 patients with post-stroke speech disorders admitted to this hospital from October 2021 to October 2022.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with language rehabilitation training,while the observation group were treated with electroacupuncture on the basis of the control group.The scores of speech function[Boston diagnostic aphasia scale(BDAE)],the negative emotions[Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)],and the quality of life[general quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74)]were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:After the treatment,the BDAE scores of dialogue and spontaneous speech,speech expression,auditory comprehension,written language comprehension and writing in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The HAMD and HAMA scores of the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the GQOLI-74 scores of cognitive function,psychological state,social function and physical function in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Electroacupuncture combined with language rehabilitation training in the treatment of the patients with post-stroke speech disorder can improve the speech function,improve the negative emotions and improve the quality of life.Moreover,it is superior to single language rehabilitation training.
