Application effects of solution-focused nursing in patients with diabetic retinopathy
Objective:To observe application effects of solution-focused nursing in patients with diabetic retinopathy. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 100 patients with diabetic retinopathy admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to December 2021.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the solution-focused nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The nursing compliance, the blood glucose index levels before and after the nursing[fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)],the quality of life[low vision quality of life scale(CLVQOL)]score, the negative emotions[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)]score were compared between the two groups. Results:The excellent and good rate of nursing compliance in the observation group was 98.00%(49/50),which was higher than 80.00%(40/50)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the levels of FBG,2hPG and HbA1c in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The CLVQOL scores of distant vision, movement and light perception, adjustment ability, reading and fine movement, and activities of daily living in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the SDS scores and the SAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the solution-focused nursing can improve the excellent and good rate of nursing compliance and the quality of life scores of the patients with diabetic retinopathy and reduce the levels of blood glucose indexes and the negative emotion scores. Moreover,it is superior to single routine nursing.
