Application effects of failure mode-effect analysis nursing in elderly patients with nephrotic syndrome
Objective:To observe application effects of failure mode-effect analysis nursing in elderly patients with nephrotic syndrome. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 104 elderly patients with nephrotic syndrome admitted to the hospital from October 2019 to September 2022.They were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method,52 cases in each. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the failure mode-effect analysis nursing. The levels of coagulation function indexes[thrombin time(TT),activated partial thrombin time(APTT),plasma fibrinogen(FIB),D-dimer(D-D)],the incidence of thromboembolism events, and the quality of life[short form health survey(SF-36)]were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the levels of APTT and TT in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of D-D and FIB in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, and the observation group was lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of thromboembolic events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after the nursing, the SF-36 scores of social function, physiological function, physiological role, emotional function, mental health, general health status, physical pain and vitality in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The failure mode-effect analysis nursing in the elderly patients with nephrotic syndrome can improve the quality of life scores, improve the levels of coagulation function indexes and reduce the incidence of thromboembolic events. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
