Effects of Bacillus licheniformis granules,live combined with conventional treatment on children with rotavirus enteritis
Objective:To observe effects of Bacillus licheniformis granules,live combined with routine treatment on children with rotavirus enteritis.Methods:The clinical data of 96 children with rotavirus enteritis admitted to this hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group and control group,48 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment,while the observation group was treated with Bacillus licheniformis granules,live on the basis of that of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment,the improvement time of clinical symptoms,the levels of inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)],the levels of intestinal flora(Bifidobacterium,Lactobacillus,Escherichia coli),and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.83%,which was significantly higher than 83.33%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement time of clinical symptoms such as antiemetic time,antipyretic time and antidiarrheal time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the levels of Escherichia coli and the serum IL-6 and TNF-α were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Bacillus licheniformis granules,live combined with conventional treatment in the children with rotavirus enteritis can improve the total effective rate of treatment,shorten the improvement time of clinical symptoms,improve the levels of intestinal flora,and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.Moreover,it is superior to single conventional treatment.
