Application effects of systemic nursing in postoperative patients with thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures
Objective:To observe application effects of systemic nursing in postoperative patients with thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures(TLCF).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 134 postoperative patients with TLCF admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to April 2022.They were divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method,67 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,while the study group was given the systemic nursing on the basis of the control group,both groups were treated for 3 months.The vertebral dysfunction score[Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI)],the activities of daily living[Barthel index(BI)]score,the quality of life score[general quality of life questionnaire-74(GQOLI-74)],the negative emotions[hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS)]before and after the nursing,the incidence of complications,and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:After the nursing,the ODI and HADS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,the BI and GQOLI-74 scores were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 0,which was lower than 8.96%(6/67)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the study group was 97.01%(65/67),which was higher than 88.06%(59/67)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The systemic nursing on the basis of the routine nursing can improve the activities of daily living scores,the quality of life scores and the nursing satisfaction of the postoperative patients with TLCF and reduce the vertebral dysfunction scores,the negative emotion scores and the incidence of complications.Moreover,it is superior to single routine nursing.
