Application effects of Sufentanil combined with Ropivacaine epidural anesthesia in painless labor parturients
Objective:To observe effects of Sufentanil combined with Ropivacaine epidural anesthesia in painless labor parturients. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 84 parturients who underwent painless labor in this hospital from April 2022 to April 2023.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,42 cases in each group. The control group was given Ropivacaine for epidural anesthesia, while the observation group was combined with Sufentanil for epidural anesthesia on the basis of that of the control group. The anesthetic effects, the labor time and the neonatal outcomes, the pain degree[visual analogue scale(VAS)]scores at different labor stages, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The duration of anesthesia in the observation group was longer than that in the control group, the complete block time and the onset time of analgesia were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The first, second and third stages of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the Apgar score between the two groups(P>0.05).In the first, second and third stages of labor, the VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Sufentanil combined with Ropivacaine epidural anesthesia for painless labor can prolong the duration of anesthesia, shorten the complete block time, the analgesic onset time and the time of the first, second and third stages of labor, and reduce the VAS scores. Moreover,it is superior to single Ropivacaine epidural anesthesia.
