Effects of Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo decoction combined with Butylphthalide in treatment of convalescent patients with cerebral infarction
Objective:To observe the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo decoction combined with Butylphthalide in treatment of convalescent patients with cerebral infarction.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 75 convalescent patients with cerebral infarction admitted to the hospital from February 2019 to February 2022.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group(38 cases)and control group(37 cases).The control group was treated with Butylphthalide soft capsules,while the study group was treated with Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo decoction on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the daily living ability[Barthel index(BI)]score,the limb motor function[Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)]score,the neurological function related indicators[modified Rankin scale(MRS),central nervous specific protein(S100β)]levels,the cerebral hemodynamic indicators[anterior cerebral artery(ACA),basilar artery(BA)blood flow velocity]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 94.74%(36/38),which was higher than 75.68%(28/37)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the BI and FMA scores of the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The MRS scores and the S100β levels of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,those of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood flow velocities of ACA and BA in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo decoction combined with Butylphthalide in the treatment of the convalescent patients with cerebral infarction can improve the total effective rate of treatment,the BI scores,the FMA scores and the cerebral hemodynamic indicator level,and reduce the levels of neurological function related indicators.Moreover,it is superior to single Butylphthalide soft capsules treatment.
