Predictive value of combined detection of AA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT levels in prognosis of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia
Objective:To analyze predictive value of combined detection of serum amyloid protein A(SAA)/high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and procalcitonin(PCT)levels in prognosis of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. Methods:The clinical data of 110 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia admitted to this hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the severity of the disease, they were divided into mild group(n=72)and severe group(n=38).The clinical data of 110 healthy children in the same period were analyzed and they were selected as the control group. The levels of SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT in the three groups were compared, and the levels of SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT in the children with different prognosis were compared. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the value of single and combined detection of SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT in the prediction of prognosis of the children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. Results:The SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT levels in the severe group and the mild group were higher than those in the control group, those in the severe group were higher than those in the mild group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month of treatment, the levels of serum SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT levels in the children with poor prognosis were higher than those in the children with good prognosis, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The ROC curve showed that the area under the curve of SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT in the prediction of the prognosis of the children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were 0.718,0.799,0.743 and 0.825,respectively,all of which had certain diagnostic efficiency, and the combined detection had the highest predictive efficiency. Conclusions:The prognostic value of combined detection of SAA/hs-CRP,NLR and PCT in the children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia is higher than that of the three single detections.
