Application effects of continuous nursing based on 4C mode in postoperative patients with esophageal cancer undergoing radical surgery
Objective:To observe application effects of continuous nursing based on 4C mode in postoperative patients with esophageal cancer undergoing radical surgery. Methods:From January 2020 to August 2022,80 patients who esophageal cancer undergoing radical surgery in the hospital were selected for the prospective study.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the continuous nursing based on 4C mode on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of self-efficacy[strategies used by people promote health(SUPPH)],quality of life[European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)],and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the SUPPH scores of positive attitude,self-decompression and self-decision in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The EORTC QLQ-C30 scores of physical function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function, social function and overall quality of life in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 5.00%(2/40),which was lower than 20.00%(8/40)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the continuous nursing based on 4C mode can improve the self-efficacy scores and the quality of life scores of the postoperative patients with esophageal cancer undergoing radical surgery, and reduce the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to single routine nursing.
