Effects of predictive nursing on patients after colorectal polypectomy
Objective:To observe effects of predictive nursing on patients after colorectal polypectomy. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 120 patients after colorectal polypectomy admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to December 2021.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group,60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the predictive nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The incidence of complications, the recovery time of bowel sounds, the anal exhaust time, the hospitalization time, the depression-anxiety-stress scale(DASS-21)score,the self-rated abilities for health practices scale(SRAHP)score, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.67%,which was significantly lower than 31.67%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recovery time of bowel sounds, the anal exhaust time and the hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the scores of each dimension of DASS-21 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the scores of each dimension of SRAHP were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.33%,which was significantly higher than 85.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the predictive nursing can improve the SRAHP scores and the nursing satisfaction of the patients after colorectal polypectomy, shorten the recovery time of bowel sounds, the anal exhaust time and the hospitalization time, and reduce the DASS-21 scores and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to single routine nursing.
