Application effects of CICARE communication nursing in postoperative patients with glaucoma combined with cataract
Objective:To observe application effects of CICARE communication nursing in postoperative patients with glaucoma combined with cataract. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 100 patients with glaucoma and cataract who were admitted to the hospital from January 2016 to May 2021.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group. The control group was received routine postoperative nursing, while the observation group was received the CICARE communication nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The compliance, the negative emotions[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)]score, the disease cognition score, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:The compliance rate of the observation group was 98.00%(49/50),which was significantly higher than 70.00%(35/50)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the disease cognition score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 96.00%(48/50),which was higher than 72.00%(36/50)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The CICARE communication nursing on the basis of the routine postoperative nursing can improve the compliance rate, the disease cognition scores and the nursing satisfaction of the postoperative patients with glaucoma combined and cataract, and reduce the negative emotion score. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
