Influencing factors of happiness in patients with vision restoration after cataract surgery
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of happiness in patients with vision restoration after cataract surgery. Methods:The clinical data of 70 cataract patients with postoperative vision restoration admitted to the hospital from January 2018 to March 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.General information of these patients was collected. The happiness of the patients was assessed using the Memorial University of Newfoundland scale of happiness(MUNSH).Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of happiness after cataract surgery. Results:The total MUNSH score of the cataract patients was(28.79±11.29).The scores of each dimension from low to high were positive affect, negative affect, negative experience and positive experience. There were no significant differences in the MUNSH score among the cataract patients with different gender, age, work, body mass index, smoking history, drinking history and family residence(P>0.05).The univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the MUNSH score among the cataract patients with different marital status, education level, annual income, payment method and living status(P<0.05).The multiple linear regression analysis showed that low education level, low annual income and living alone were all risk factors affecting the happiness of the cataract patients after recovery. Conclusions:Low education level, low annual income and living alone are the risk factors affecting the happiness of the cataract patients with postoperative vision restoration.
