Effects of Diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsules combined with Inosine tablets in treatment of elderly patients with drug-induced liver injury
Objective:To observe effects of Diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsules combined with Inosine tablets in treatment of elderly patients with drug-induced liver injury. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 68 elderly patients with drug-induced liver injury admitted to this hospital from January 2021 to January 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group,34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Inosine tablets, while the study group was treated with Diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsules on the basis of that of the control group. Both groups were treated continuously for 2 months. The clinical efficacy, the liver function indexes[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),total bilirubin(TBIL),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alkaline phosphatase(ALP)]levels, the inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]levels,the oxidative stress indexes[malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase(SOD)]levels before and after the treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 97.06% (33/34),which was higher than 76.47% (26/34)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of ALT,AST,TBIL and ALP in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the level of MDA in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the levels of SOD and GSH-Px were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Diammonium glycyrrhizinate capsules combined with Inosine tablets in the treatment of the elderly patients with drug-induced liver injury can improve the total effective rate of treatment, improve the levels of oxidative stress indexes and reduce the levels of liver function indexes and the inflammatory factors. Moreover,it is superior to single Inosine tablets treatment.
