Effects of Nifuratel and Nystatin capsules in treatment of patients with recurrent fungal vaginitis
Objective:To observe effects of Nifuratel and Nystatin capsules in treatment of patients with recurrent fungal vaginitis. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 94 patients with recurrent fungal vaginitis admitted to the hospital from April 2021 to January 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group,47 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Fluconazole, while the study group was treated with Nifuratel and Nystatin vaginal soft capsule. The clinical efficacy, the clinical symptoms(abnormal vaginal secretions, vulva pruritus, vaginal burning and pain, vaginal mucosal congestion and edema)scores before and after the treatment, the Th1/Th2 cytokines[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon-γ(INF-γ),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-10]levels,the vaginal microorganisms(Sialidase,Leukocyte esterase,Catalase)positive rate, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 95.74% (45/47),which was higher than 80.85% (38/47)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the scores of abnormal vaginal secretions, vulva pruritus, vaginal burning and pain, vaginal mucosal congestion and edema in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of INF-γ and TNF-α in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of IL-6 and IL-10 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive rates of Sialidase,Leukocyte esterase and Catalase in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Nifuratel and Nystatin capsules can improve the clinical efficacy, improve the clinical symptoms, maintain the balance of Th1/Th2 cytokines and reduce the positive rate of vaginal microorganisms in the treatment of the patients with recurrent fungal vaginitis. Moreover,it is superior to single Fluconazole treatment.
